Prohibited Products

The rule

If it is illegal to sell in Zimbabwe, it may not be listed on Musuwo. This list adds to that; it does not replace it.

A listing in any of these categories can be removed without notice, and repeated attempts will end a merchant's access.

Never

Illegal goods of any kind.

Counterfeits and fakes - including replicas presented as genuine, and goods using somebody else's brand without permission.

Stolen goods, or goods you cannot show you are entitled to sell.

Weapons and ammunition, and parts intended to make them.

Drugs - controlled substances, and anything sold as a substitute for them.

Prescription medicines, and medical devices requiring a licensed seller.

Dangerous chemicals, explosives and hazardous materials.

Pornography, and any sexual content involving or appearing to involve children - which will be reported, not merely removed.

Wildlife and controlled natural products - protected species, ivory, and anything requiring a permit you do not hold.

Fraudulent financial products - investment schemes, guaranteed-return offers, and anything whose value depends on recruiting others.

Human remains or body parts.

Recalled products, and anything subject to a safety notice.

Personal data - lists of names, numbers or addresses belonging to other people.

Accounts and credentials - logins, subscriptions or identity documents, whether yours or not.

Needs a licence, and Musuwo needs to see it

Do not list these unless you hold what the law requires and Musuwo has recorded it:

• Alcohol
• Tobacco and nicotine products
• Firearms-adjacent items where any are lawful
• Fuel and gas
• Regulated agricultural inputs
• Food produced commercially at scale

Food

Food may be sold. It must be within its date, stored and handled safely, and packaged so it survives being carried. You are responsible for its safety.

Reporting

Anything on this list can be reported from the listing, or to support@musuwo.online. Reports about child safety are escalated immediately.
